– How important is transformational leadership for implementing DevOps successfully?

– 3 questions you should ask yourself and your organization, if you plan to adopt DevOps or Agile. DevOps Agile Skills Association (DASA) is an independent and open members

-driven association supporting DevOps journeys around the world through training, certification and knowledge sharing.

THE DASA DEVOPS CERTIFICATION SCHEME The role of the IT professional will become more generic as DevOps teams develop and IT people become more multi-skilled. DASA identifies three broad areas of expertise, and developed a certification program designed for each profile. These programs test the practical skills and experience of professionals who feel most related to these profiles.

DASA DEVOPS COMPETENCE MODEL The DASA DevOps Competence Model describes the essential skills needed in a DevOps team. DASA has identified 4 skill areas, and 8 knowledge areas, and outlined what the expected behaviour or knowledge is for each of these 12 capabilities. DASA DEVOPS PRINCIPLES Many definitions of DevOps exist, and many of them adequately explain one or more aspects that are important to find flow in the delivery of IT services. Instead of trying to state a comprehensive definition on our own, we prefer highlighting six DevOps principles we deem essential when adopting or migrating to a DevOps way of working.
