DevOps has come a long way since we first heard about CI/CD. In the current environment of increasing cost pressure and ever more complex technology landscape, developer experience and platform engineering are emerging as two approaches that can shape the future of DevOps. It is different in some ways but also a continuation of what we have seen before. In this talk I will explore the broader problem statement and provide a view of the elements that go into a successful DevX adoption journey.
